The Pine Grosbeaks grace the birdfeeders of North America during the winter seasons. The males red color make them easy to spot and are a joy to watch. The female is equally interesting to observe but their color is much more subdued which makes them harder to spot!
Glen was able to watch these birds at the family bird feeder while he was painting this work. Truly wonderful to work on subjects that appear daily right outside your window!
